US says its anti-air systems are helping defend against Iranian attack

<p>IDF Chief of Staff Herzi Halevi said following Iran's attack on Israel Tuesday night, "We have proven our ability to prevent the enemy from achieving success, through the combination of exemplary civilian conduct and a very strong Aerial Defense Array. We will choose when to exact the price and demonstrate our precise and surprising offensive capabilities, in accordance with the directive of the political echelon."</p>

<p>Ichilov Hospital in Tel Aviv said that one of the victims injured in the attack in Jaffa has succumbed to his injuries.</p><p>The injured man arrived at the hospital in critical condition and was pronounced dead a short time ago, the hospital said.</p>

<p>Defense Minister Yoav Gallant commented on the Iranian missile attack against Israel.</p><p>“I spent this evening in the command and control center together with senior defense officials, closely watching the IDF’s successful defense against the Iranian missile attack on Israel. Iran has not learned a simple lesson - those who attack the State of Israel, pay a heavy price,” he said.</p>

<p>The IDF Spokesperson said, "Iran's attack is continuing. You are requested to remain in a protected space until further notice. The explosions you are hearing are from interceptions or fallen projectiles. The Aerial Defense Array is currently identifying and intercepting launches."</p>

<p>Culture and Sports Minister Miki Zohar said in response to the Iranian attack, "The stupid Iranian leader who made the worst decision in its history, will pay a very heavy price. This is the beginning of the end of the wretched Iranian regime."</p>
