<p>Overnight, following IDF intelligence, the IAF conducted a series of targeted strikes on a number of weapons storage facilities and terrorist infrastructure sites belonging to the Hezbollah terrorist organization in the area of Beirut.</p><p>The IDF Spokesperson's Unit said that, prior to the strike, numerous steps were taken to mitigate the risk of harming civilians, including advancing warnings to the population in the area.</p><p>"The Hezbollah terrorist organization deliberately embeds its weapons production facilities and weaponry beneath residential buildings in the heart of the city of Beirut, putting the civilian population in the area at risk. The IDF is continuing to operate to degrade and dismantle Hezbollah’s capabilities."</p>
