IDF, ISA, foil attempt to smuggle advanced weapons originating in Iran to terror operatives in Judea and Samaria.

<p>Following the directive of the political echelon, the ceasefire agreement in Lebanon took effect at 04:00 today (Wednesday), and the IDF has been operating accordingly.</p><p>Over the past hour, the IDF identified a vehicle with several suspects in a zone prohibited for movement in Lebanese territory. IDF troops fired to prevent them from advancing, and the suspects left the area. </p><p>There are currently no changes to the Home Front Command guidelines.</p>

<p>Interior Minister Moshe Arbel spoke on Tuesday evening with the heads of the local authorities in northern Israel.</p><p>He said, "I call on the Prime Minister to hold the next Cabinet meeting in Metula or Kiryat Shmona and in the process to demonstrate the government's absolute commitment to the security of the citizens of the north."</p>

Amb. Ronald S. Lauder, president of the World Jewish Congress, on ceasefire in Lebanon: Israel must also take this moment to redirect its focus to the south and the Gaza envelope.

The IDF's Arabic language spokesman, Avichay Adraee, issued another warning message before an attack on buildings in the city of Beirut, asking residents in those building to evacuate.

<p>A short while ago, with the direction of IDF and ISA intelligence, the IAF precisely struck Mumin Al-Jabari, a senior terrorist in Hamas’ Gaza City Brigade’s sniper unit, who operated in a room within a structure that previously served as the Al-Tabaeen school.</p><p>Al-Jabari directed and carried out terror attacks against IDF troops in the Gaza Strip and stored a large amount of weapons in the room in which he operated. In August, the IDF struck the structure, used as an active shelter, and eliminated over 30 Hamas and Islamic Jihad terrorists.</p><p>Prior to the strike, numerous steps were taken to mitigate the risk of harming civilians, including the use of precise munitions, aerial surveillance and additional intelligence.</p><p>"This is another example of the Islamic Jihad's systematic exploitation of civilian infrastructure and the civilian population as a human shield for its terrorist activities. The IDF will continue to operate against terrorists who embed themselves in schools and other civilian infrastructure as a shelter," the IDF Spokesperson's Unit stated.</p>

<p>The IDF Spokesperson's Unit said that a UAV had been identified as having crashed in the Lower Galilee. </p><p>There were no injuries. The incident is being investigated.</p>

<p>Lebanon's transport minister said overnight Tuesday that Israel had attacked three border crossings between Lebanon and Syria.</p><p>The Syrian Red Crescent claimed that a volunteer was killed in one of the attacks. Syrian media reported 18 locals injured.</p>
