Prof. Avi Friedman, an adjunct professor at Columbia's business school, informs the university's leadership of his resignation due to what he describes as "systematic" anti-Israel bias on campus.

<p>Qatari Foreign Ministry spokesman Majed Al-Ansari said on Monday that an Israeli delegation was to have arrived in Doha to begin negotiations on the second phase of the hostage release deal.</p><p>"They have not yet sent the delegation, but we are in contact with both sides to ensure they remain committed to it. <p>A teenage girl died after being attacked by a shark in Queensland, Australia.</p><p>The attack took place at Woorim Beach, just north of Brisbane. Police confirmed that the girl had suffered life-threatening injuries and died shortly thereafter.</p>

<p>A 22-year-old illegal infiltrator from Ramallah was arrested at the end of a police pursuit after he stole a vehicle from north Tel Aviv.</p><p>In addition, police caught two residents of Qalqilya, ages 17 and 18, with equipment used to break into cars, including a starter computer, in the Tzhala neighborhood in north Tel Aviv. The two were taken for questioning and this morning, the police will ask the court to extend their detention. </p>
